DISHWASHER PROBLEMS

CONSTANT/LOUD NOISES

Repairmen are trained in identifying and fixing dishwasher malfunctions that cause loud sounds to come out of the appliance. The source of the sounds is usually either a broken washer arm bearing, pump housing or motor bushing. Since these are all common problems, customers can depend on us to repair them right away!

WATER LEAKING

There are usually one of two reasons a dishwasher starts to leak water. The first reason is that there’s an issue with the door latch or closure and the part will need to be replaced. The other issue is a failed water inlet valve that must be repaired immediately upon our arrival to your home. We have all of the manufacturer parts to fix Whirlpool, GE, Kenmore and popular brands of dishwashers.

WON’T TURN ON

First, if a dishwasher doesn’t turn on, you confirm the appliance is plugged in and none of the circuit breakers in the kitchen tripped. If this is not the issue, the problem could be coming from the door latch switches, thermal fuses, electronic controls or motor relays.

WON’T DRAIN/FILL

A dishwasher should fill with water and then drain the water after the dishes are clean. A dishwasher doesn’t fill when there is a broken door latch or float switch or a broken water inlet valve. A dishwasher doesn’t drain when there is a malfunctioning drain hose or pump motor on the unit.

DOESN’T WASH DISHES

Your dishwasher isn’t of much use when the dishes are dirty after a cycle. The dishes could still be dirty if there is a broken housing gasket, filter or water tube or spray arm. We have replacement parts available to fix each of these dishwasher problems fast.

WON’T DRY DISHES

The reasons to own a dishwasher is for the appliance to both wash and dry dishes. You don’t want to hand dry your dishes following a cycle. Your dishwasher does not dry if there’s a broken heating element, rinse aid dispenser or thermostat. We can repair or replace parts that perform the drying functions of all models of dishwashers.

DOESN’T DISPENSE SOAP

In order for a dishwasher to wash dishes, it must be able to dispense detergent or soap within the appliance. This doesn’t happen if there is a broken timer, bi-metal release or wax motor.
